Super Cash Management Accounts

Part of our Self Managed Super Fund arrangement will usually involve a Cash Management Account with a major investment bank such as Macquarie.

This is where your super funds are held. If you are receiving rental income from investment properties then it is paid into this account, along with the Superannuation Guarantee Contribution component of your wages from your employer.

Additionally, any interest payments and other outgoings related to your investments are paid out of this account. Generally this account receives the cash interest rate set by the RBA, and serves as the holding vehicle for your superannuation funds.
